Untitled

When the tears finally start to fall
Like a canned soda shaken then opened
I finally see you for who you are
And who I am when I am with you

Farewells are definitely in order
But like sticky tape, a sticky situation
That only time can loosen but can
Never truly erase the marks of the past.

Assumptions based on one’s interpretation
But spoken in differing languages
One says something amazing
But is in a different tongue quite the contrary.

Every new beginning comes after the end
Or new beginnings are always never ending.
Drunken soliloquies but always unspoken
Fear of starting over, or saying it’s over.

Never Ending Story

Written April 25, 2015

Unlikely villains, unheroic matyrs, delusions of star crossed lovers.
Nemeses and allies, wars and sacrifices, life in death fortold.
Twists of fate, paths to take, souls torn asunder.
Same book, a new chapter, deeper plots, uncertain endings.
Flip the pages ever unceasing as the days go on and on.

Conflicted

Soliloquy of a broken soul
Treading through the currents
Unsure of whether to yield
Or follow the motions.

Bound by disproven faith
Yet fearing what is beyond
Uncharted waters in front
Familiar whirlpools behind.

Painful salvation for living
No repose for the departed
A rock and hard place indeed
Both not similar, but not different.

Rantings of a twisted mind
Before clear, trodden paths
To go forward means surrender
To stay is nevertheless the same.

Sanity in question
Misery never coming to end
No answer upon interrogation
Silence holds much said.

Goodbye

When the crossings call upon you
To take the step less trodden
And make fate yield to thee
Nature is calling quite loud

Adieu, sayonara, goodbye
To life once held, let go
A new path has appeared
Unknown yet pretty predictable.

Comfort on the very fact
That the hinterlands hold
The key to salvation, the crux
An answer to obvious truth

Nostalgia

Broken pieces
Forgotten past
Unearthed melodies
Sentiments revived
Passing days
Unending breeze
Concluded summers
Sudden Sunshowers
Psychedelic rhythms
Surreal delusions
Unfinished chapters
Hoping hearts
Fallen martyrs.

Surrender

I have fallen far from grace
And my tears are there as proof
My dignity torn to pieces
My story left many unmoved.
The rise and fall of my life
Dictated by your mere words
Which I have longed to hear once more
Your silence has been my downfall

Kung Kaslon Man
