Questions aren’t questions if these questions aren’t asked”
Answers will remain hidden, if replies are left on air
And thus riddles are born, puzzles like puddles after the rain,
Hiding in plain sight for all to see. Yet, a story ever left unspoken
til silence forever shall reign.

Written last January 13, 2016

A great wave came forth
Of salty tears and shadows
That slowly ebbs into the ocean
As the sun drowns in the horizon

Sandy beaches lay stretched out
Rocks basking moonlight
Her face blurry in the ripples
In puddles left behind.

Oh the melancholy of fate
Singing under the night sky
The orchestra of stars playing
A lullaby of her once before

Why not I, only the breeze
Can Brush kisses on her cheeks?
Chill is her eternal embrace
As she lay in dreamless sleep.

As dawn begins, I rise once more
The requiem fades in hope
Ashore I wait until the day
That I, too enter Thantanos’ doors.
